Kariya's communication pendant takes the form of a nondescript chunk of gray rock. It might as well be a piece of gravel someone attached to a silver chain.
[He's not expecting to receive a communication, especially not so soon, so he starts at the sudden sound from his pendant, but he's ready enough to respond to Nue.]
Yes, that's right. I am. [He's more than a little pleased he's being taken seriously as an ally.]
[Goku is from a world of that cares little about the fact all events are taking place in ancient times. The world adapts, you see. We got a Credit Card of the Gods™, a tiny dragon that turns into a jeep, guns, and more! Talking through a pendant though? Why, that's just weird.]
Do I just - talk at it? Am I doin' this right?
Uhh.
[There's a brief moment where he continues to agonize over how to properly pendant, but it doesn't take long before frustration sets in and he gives up.]
A-anyway, yeah, thanks for offerin' and all. So is there anything saying we both can't fight? Oh, and what's with the stuff about magic? I dunno anything about spells, so...
[He's still feeling pleased to have his advice asked. People usually don't ask him for his advice. Especially not when it comes to something as serious as the Grail War.]
There's no rule that you both can't fight, but usually the Servant is many times stronger than the Master. [His own had been.] A Master can do whatever is necessary to win.
I was going to fight, in my War. [He just hadn't found Tokiomi yet.]
Usually Masters are magi and can use magecraft. A magus knows how to cast spells. I don't know very much about spells either, but I can try to answer any questions you have.
The name's Goku. And while I'm not strong, I ain't weak either! So we'll see about that! [He does sound noticeably more relieved to hear that Masters can do whatever it takes.]
Nnn, wait, so what was that Command Spell those guys mentioned? Pretty sure I'm not a magicraft or whatever you called it.
